REGIONAL PROFILE
KRREA has proposed a major initiative entitled “Foundations of Our Economy” that will result in the development of a regional economic profile. This regional profile will create new profiles for communities and build upon existing community and First Nations profiles, as well as standardize economic profile information. We have confirmed funding for this project and have currently posted an RFP for a consultant or consulting team to complete the work. The timeline for completing the project is approximately 1 year.
April 2009 to March 2010
Phase I: Baseline assessment of the regional economy, integrated assets inventory and the development of a regional economic development strategy.
Phase II: January to March 2009: Development of a regional economic profile March to June 2009: Development of a regional brand.
